I am p!eased as a diabetic who doesn't like Stevie or some of the other so called natural sweeteners . I bought a vanilla bean sugar free protein powder . It doesn't taste good by itself but add your favorite sweetener ,Splenda for me with a sprinkle of cinnamon or blend with whole fruit and it taste great. It is easier to blend in my almond milk than whey protein powders. I developed a milk allergy so had to switch to a veggie protein . Whey protein taste better but I blow up like a balloon . This is one of the lower priced sugar free veggie protein. I use protein powder to make sure I get enough protein to help keep my blood sugar stable
Hi, my name is Jessi and I live in Denver Colorado. I am big on health and eating right is very important to me. Over the years I have choked down countless different brands of protein powders trying to find one that didn't make me want to gag. I am a vegetarian so getting the extra protein is essential. I first tried the orgain chocolate plant based protein and fell in love with that flavor and so figured I would try the vanilla. Both flavors are by FAR the best tasting plant based proteins of all the brands I have tried. I normally drink them with just water, but they are great in more elaborate shakes too. Sometimes I add "healthy" powders and vitamins to the water based mixture and the vanilla doesn't hide those flavors as well as chocolate, but still drinkable.
5 stars because this isn't sickeningly sweet like the others I tried. Not sure why others complain about the taste, I think it tastes fine and I didn't know flavor was the reason you bought protein powder. Just drink it already or maybe you prefer some wimpy Starbucks concoction.
Very happy with this, takes 2 scoops to get 20+ grams of protein, which makes it a bit pricey... but not bad, comparable to other organic proteins... and mixed with OJ and oat milk... and stevia... with a little ice and using a hand blender... VERY nice.
Mixes really well in a blender. I mix it with some kombutcha for a "milk shake" in the mornings. 8 oz glass and I'm good until 5ish hours later! Seems to curb my appetite because keeping blood sugar stable, I'm guessing. I get the vanilla but the chocolate also works well for my "shake" although, the taste alone is not very chocolatey..more mild. I can find this for about the same price elsewhere but I sure like knowing it hasn't been sitting on a store shelf for....?AND, who doesn't love "presents" at their door!
