    Great replacement for larger model

Looking at some of the negative reviews I wondered if this compact version would be as satisfactory as our old (messy) counter-top model. We have found it to be strong enough to suite the purpose (and I have some very crooked teeth!). My husband has sensitivity and prefers the lower setting, I have terrific results with the high or pulse settings. I love that it fits into our medicine cabinet (it takes up a space about the size of a shampoo bottle). It can be used over the sink without the mead and leaking like our old bulky model. My husband was thrilled to get this for Father's Day. I didn't expect to love it, but love it do!

    power washer for your gums

I've only had this for about two weeks, so I may update this review down the road. This water flosser was about half the price as the rechargeable waterpik version, and I was a bit skeptical in the first place so I didn't want to get the more expensive version. Why the skepticism? My dental hygienist recommended that I use a waterpick for my gums. I remember having one as a kid, about the size of a small aquarium, and mostly using it as a toy to spray things with and pretend my action figures were firemen. Plus, I already use an oral B electric toothbrush and I floss somewhat regularly.Anyways, the first time I used this waterpick, I was surprised how strong it was, and equally surprised how much it cleaned. I flossed immediately afterwards, and the floss came out mostly clean. The one thing I would say is that it is still quite messy, and to some degree I have no idea where I am aiming. I try to get the gumline and inbetween teeth, but it's kind of hard to tell where exactly I'm hitting since so much water is coming out.So, I'll add this to my routine and see if the hygienist notices a difference in my gums on our next visit. My one concern is that there were a few reviews from people who said their water flosser stopped working after a few months. If that happens, I will update this review, and may look into the waterpik version to compare warranties.

    Very powerful for its size

I wasn't expecting the water jet to be quite so strong for a wireless flosser. Fortunately, there is a gentler mode which is much more manageable. As for the performance of the flosser, it works like every other one on the market. I don't believe that it is a replacement for normal flossing, but it does a great job of quickly knocking loose food stuck between your teeth.A few minor issues (which I didn't deduct stars for):-Water tank seems to run out very quickly. However, refilling is easy and fast.-Messy. My sink area was soaked after my first use. You could probably reduce the amount of splashing with proper technique and practice.

Wow! This cordless dental flosser is the best!

Wow! This cordless dental flosser is the best! Here is the link to the exact item I am reviewing here ~ Water Flosser Professional Cordless Dental Oral Irrigator - Portable and Rechargeable IPX7 Waterproof 3 Modes Water Flossing with Cleanable Water Tank for Home and Travel, Braces & Bridges Care I am a long time user of a standard full size Waterpik every night to clean my teeth after brushing. This cordless dental flosser on the normal mode is every bit as efficient and powerful as my standard full size Waterpik is on the high mode. I love this cordless dental flosser! This little baby will definitely be going with me on my trips and our upcoming cruise so I can continue my normal dental hygiene routine while traveling. It came with a nice travel bag to put it in for travel. I really like the fact that the water reservoir comes off with a simple twist and I can dry if off on the inside very easily. It is so easy to charge up with the included wall plug and since it is USB I can charge it up with my laptop while working on my computer. This flosser hands down is the best I have ever owned for travel and I have owned two other cordless water flossers made by Waterpik that are not nearly as good. I will use this as my main water flosser once my current full size corded Waterpik goes out. This cordless dental flosser is the best!

USE with WATER ONLY at first!!

This is my first time using a water flosser and I have to say once you get the hang of it, it’s so much easier and more thorough than the standard brushing and string style floss. It leaves your mouth feeling extra clean. While starting out I recommend using just plain water because more than once I misjudged the button and shot water clear to the bathroom ceiling! I couldn’t help but laugh as I power washed the bathroom walls on my second attempt. The flosser has three settings. I use the soft setting which is still forceful enough to get in between the teeth nice and clean. I occasionally use the pulse setting which sort of reminds me of those videos of dogs who try to eat the lawn sprinkler. Now that I’ve gotten used to using it I fill it with warm water and mouth wash for a minty fresh cleaning. Afterwards I always run water through it to clean it out, rinse it really well and leave the pieces separate so they can air dry. All in all I’m very pleased with this flosser.
